Reny tries out a few notes on his new guitar.
Reny has always wanted a guitar. After a year of saving bottles and cans toward his dream, Reny was referred to Dreams from the Hardt for help making his dream of having a “black guitar” come true.
On September 5th, Reny thought he was getting a ride home because he missed the bus but instead found himself at Buckdancers Choice Music in Portland. An expression of sheer delight lit up Reny’s face as he was presented with a guitar. As he strummed the strings for the first time everyone there applauded, sharing in his excitement.
After receiving his guitar, matching hat and guitar bag, Reny used some of his savings to purchase a strap for his guitar and some picks.
