Scott arrived at Gillette Stadium early enough to watch the pregame. The game was sold out with 40,000 in attendance.
Growing up in a family of Patriots fans, Scott has always dreamed of going to Foxboro to see a game in person. When the Dreams Committee showed up to tell Scott his dream was coming true he greeted them with a huge grin, asking “Am I going to the Patriots?” Scott was very excited to hear the details of his trip which included seats in the 8th row and overnight accommodations near the stadium.
Scott’s sister Lani said that it was like her dream was coming true to see her brother heading off to the game. She met him at the house as he was leaving to give him money to buy a big foam finger to wave during the game so she and the rest of the family could try and pick him out on TV.
Scott said that he had a great time on the trip. The Patriots fell one point short of a victory, but for Scott, finally getting to a game was a victory in and of itself!
