Cultivation WorkS, the newest venture at Creative Work Systems, offers people with disabilities access to good food, good work, and great opportunities through farming!
Cultivation WorkS offers two options for people to integrate farming, gardening, and food production into their lives. First, a 12-month certification program focuses on gardening for health. People learn about about food production, basic culinary skills, and class room activities like growing seedlings and experiencing local farms. Next, they advance to farming at the Creative Work Systems farm and greenhouse, harvesting crops, and learning how to market and sell produce. Our employment specialists will work to connect anyone interested to employment in a food-related industry.
