Services

Creative Work Systems(CWS) provides a wide array of services to people with disabilities throughout Southern Maine. During the past year, over 300 people with disabilities joined with 250 CWS employees to live, work and be a part of their community together.

Community Services
Community Services at Creative Work Systems are designed to maximize a person’s ability to manage everyday life activities in communities rich with resources. People become involved in a wide range of opportunities planned by and for them to address individual needs, goals and interests. Through life skills coaching and personal connections, individuals grow to become more active members of their communities.

Residential & Community Living Services
Creative Work Systems provides residential support to approximately 100 people with disabilities throughout Southern Maine. Services are designed to maximize independence and customized for the individual. Residential Services range from 24-hour support to just a few hours each week, depending on each person’s specific needs.

Employment Services
Our employment team works diligently to find the right job match for each person. We help people prepare for their job search through career exploration, job readiness training, resume development and interview practice. Our employment specialists work with each individual and area employers to secure the right position. We provide support as needed through orientation and training. If required, long term support is available from a job coach.

Brain Injury Services
For people with Acquired Brain Injury, CWS provides residential and employment support necessary for people to regain life skills. We believe that the best possible rehabilitation occurs when high quality, specialized services are delivered in an environment that promotes individual dignity. People living with brain injury and their families demonstrate tremendous courage, perseverance and ingenuity. Our goal is to nurture that spirit and to help individuals regain maximum control over their lives.

Community Case Management
Community Case Management Services at Creative Work Systems are designed to meet the needs of people who live on their own, or with family, and do not receive home supports. Through an individualized, person-centered approach, people are guided in gaining a greater awareness of resources and building deeper community connections. All services are designed to encourage the highest level of home and community independence.
